Meanwhile, back in January 2025…

With women’s rights and reproductive freedoms under graver threat than ever, we as neighbors, friends and allies united and showed we won’t back down — especially against politicians who sneer at the idea that women are people.
Ventura County Women’s March 2025: You made it possible!

On January 18, 2025, we marched in solidarity with Women’s Marches across the country to push back against politicians who want us to stay silent and give up our voice. If you missed this year’s march, then checkout the photos we snapped.
Meet the community leaders at the 2025 Women’s March

Our rally’s speakers included VC Supervisor Vianey Lopez, VC Council Member Ryyn Schumacher, immigration attorney Vanessa Frank, and Buen Vecino’s Dr. Andrea Medina. Former VC Supervisor Kathy Long was our MC.
We are facing difficult times and these community leaders helped us understand how to navigate the next few years. Remember this: You’re the #1 reason we’re fighting back this year.
